Leapfrog opens in Midvaal, Vereeniging and Vanderbijlpark

Leapfrog Property group has opened three franchises in Midvaal, Vereeniging and Vanderbijlpark, the first in the region, under the ownership and management of franchisee Anneli Koekemoer, a well-respected and multi-award winning real estate professional.

"I am excited at the prospect of being able to change the way that agents approach real estate through Leapfrog's innovative business structure that is aimed at generating meaningful and sustainable wealth. Not only will this provide the tools for a solid business base, but illustrate the commitment to honesty, integrity and transparency that is underpinned by Leapfrog," says Anneli. "The legendary management team behind Leapfrog introduces highly progressive concepts to the property market and the fact that it is the first Black-owned national franchise real estate group in the country shows that Leapfrog embraces diversity as part of its business ethic."

"Our base of operation is central to the Midvaal, Vereeniging, Vanderbijlpark and Sasol regions. The start of 2008 brought with it steady growth and development that is mirrored in the broad appeal that the various suburbs hold. The Midvaal area has shown consistent growth over the last 12 months and offers a healthy dose of investments and sales opportunities," says Anneli. "We are extremely excited to be a part of a revolutionary group that is already experiencing growth and development beyond its initial anticipations."

Leapfrog brings some serious credentials and financial backing to the table and is led by prominent names in the industry such as Jan Le Roux, Bruce Swain and Kura Chihota. The company is 75% owned by New Deal trust which has Black estate agents as its beneficiaries. The trustees are former Scorpions head Bulelani Ngcuka, Estate Agency Affairs Board CEO Nomonde Mapetla, businesswoman Hlube Mazwai and Le Roux.

"Leapfrog has more than proven its track record when it comes to the support and professional training for principals, agents and staff which is particularly important as markets toughen up and pressure is exerted on property sales. In addition, being part of a nationally recognised brand that has a market offering that no other competitor is anywhere near emulating is one of the key reasons that Leapfrog has been so successful in recruiting the top independent agencies in the country," adds Anneli.

Leapfrog franchisees and agents are privy to a host of benefits that include aspects such as a comprehensive marketing team delivering fresh concepts in line with Leapfrog's unique brand label. An innovative share structure ensures that all Leapfrog stakeholders - from principals to agents to direct employees - benefit from a financial point of view that is further enhanced by Leapfrog's unrivalled BEE standing in the residential property sector.
