R7,5m Hout Bay B&B on market

R7,5m Hout Bay B&B on market

A major property in Hout Bay, with a price tag of R7,5m, has just come on to the market.

Agents are marketing one of the valley's best-known bed and breakfast establishments.

Sited at the upper end of the valley, the complex has six bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms and all leading onto a covered wooden deck. The garden is well established and contains many fully grown trees.

A swimming pool in a natural setting and large bricked patios under pergolas encourage visitors to be outdoors. Wooden shutters are featured throughout the complex and give it a country house ambience.

Lanice Steward, managing director of Anne Porter Knight Frank (APKF), said at a price of R7,5m the new owners can expect a satisfactory return, especially with the 2010 World Cup event in the offing.
