It is one of several major projects for Abu Dhabi, which is set to see billions of dollars in investment and development as it bids to bolster its status as capital of the UAE and as an international destination.
One of the towers will offer residential real estate while the other will be mainly offices, and those going for an early investment are being asked to contact developers Al Qudra Real Estate direct.
The long-awaited structure has so far seen work begin on the diaphragm wall, and shoring is expected to be completed soon.
Residential real estate will include one and two-bedroomed apartments over 17 floors, with a day care centre and 24-hour security among luxury add-ons.
