Almost half of expats in UAE plan to buy property
A total of 48% of expatriates living in the UAE will spend extra income on property, while 72% of expats living in Bahrain said they would invest, the study by insurance firm Zurich International Life said.
Year on year, this is a 20% rise for the UAE, according to the insurer.
More than 65% of those questioned in Bahrain said they have property as a current investment, compared with 27% of those asked in the UAE.
