Signs indicating UAE real estate market's recovery by the year end have been indicated in a recent Morgan Stanley Report. Report also implied return of international investors with focus firmly on distressed assets.

Investors will start snapping up distressed property-backed assets in the UAE by the end of 2009, according to Georges Makhoul, who heads the Middle Eastern and North African operations of Morgan Stanley.

Global credit crunch has severely affected UAE especially its real estate sector. Dubai real estate saw a big boom since 2002 when freehold property segment was opened up for foreign ownership.
