Housing market recovery?
Obviously, values got hyperinflated during the boom, and had to come down some for the market to recover. But the low point should have come a few months ago. Perhaps not coincidentally, according to figures in The Post last week, that’s when prices in Palm Beach County may have stabilized. They have been rising slightly. That hasn’t been the case, though, in all of the Treasure Coast.
Granted, foreclosures still make this a somewhat artificial market. But the economy needs a real estate balance, to restart demand and get people back to work.
What do you think? Is the area real estate market finally starting to recover? Take our poll above.
