After the recent increase in the average property price in the UK a number of potential sellers will now be looking towards possibly putting their property on the market. But when is the best time to sell your property in the UK?

The truth is that without the help of a crystal ball it is impossible to pinpoint the best time to sell your property. While many analysts are moving towards a bullish stance on the UK property market, with the recent Nationwide report suggesting interest in property increasing, there are still many who are unconvinced about the strength of the general recovery in the property market. We have seen instances of patchy regional strength in property prices with yet again property prices in the south of England dominating the headlines.

Trying to organise a quick sale of any property is challenging but trying to do this against a background of difficult market conditions is even harder. The truth is that the price of your property now is the only price which you can guarantee because the recession could disappear forever tomorrow or the UK could slowly slide back into a downturn. On the whole more people appear upbeat than downbeat about UK property prices for 2010 but this could very well change in an instant!
