Real Estate Acquisitions - United States - apartment - projects

Equity Residential, the largest publicly traded U.S. apartment landlord, bought a 679-unit apartment tower in San Diego for $200 million.

The downtown property, called Vantage Pointe, was built in 2009 as a condominium project, the company said in a statement today. Equity Residential purchased all of the building’s units and is operating them as rentals.
