A CROMER street has been perpetuated in a squalid state on an international search engine website.

Fisher Rd North was photographed for Google Maps with Street View at an unknown date just before a council clean-up was due.

Several parts of the street are pictured littered with piles of rubbish, including broken furniture, dirty mattresses and televisions.

The website lets users around the world explore places through 360-degree street-level imagery by typing in an address.

Real estate agent Lili O’Toole is selling a three-bedroom home on the street.

She said she was unaware of the Street View pictures of Fisher Rd North, but that it was disappointing if the road was depicted in a bad light as it usually looked lovely: “It’s such a shame,” she said.
