NAGPUR: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation has cleared the proposal of outsourcing the property tax assessment work in the city to 17 private agencies. The move is to speed up assessments of over five lakh properties in the city as in the last two years, the property tax department has been able to assess only around 80,000 properties.
