CIMB TrustCapital Advisors, a joint venture fund between Malaysia’s second-largest bank by assets, CIMB Group Holdings and Singapore-based TrustCapital Advisors, said Sunday it acquired its fourth Australian property from the Stockland Trust for 56 million Australian dollars (US$57.3 million).

Investment sales of property so far this quarter have plunged to their lowest levels in two years - to about $3.4 billion as at March 12, although the final figure for Q1 could rise to around $3.8 billion, estimates Savills Singapore. The tally as at March 12 reflects declines of about 57 per cent from $7.7 billion for Q4 2011 and 60 per cent from Q1 2011's $8.4 billion.

MK Real Estate plans three projects worth a total of THB1.9 billion (US$61.8 million) on Rattanathibeth, Charan Sanitwong 3, and Vibhavadi-Rangsit roads, Narai Property plans four projects worth a total of THB5 billion (US$162 million) on Srinakarin Road and Ananda Development will launch four condominium projects worth a total of THB10 billion (US$325 million) on Sukhumvit Road.

Investment in UK commercial property hit 32.5 billion British Pounds in 2011, in part due to a boost in the final quarter of 2011 as transactions were pushed through before the close of the year, according to new research from CBRE.
